About Us

The Rotary Club of Winslow was chartered in March 1986 and has been working in and with the Winslow community for nearly 40 years. It is proud to have helped many individuals and organisations in the town and surrounding villages as well as many others internationally via Rotary contacts throughout the world.
Schools, charities, youth organisations and the elderly have all benefited from hands-on help and funds raised by the members.

The Club meets weekly at The Bell Hotel every Tuesday for dinner (7.00 for 7.30pm). Members hear speakers on a variety of topics, discuss team reports on club activities agreeing and planning their service to the community. Winslow Rotary Club has a membership close to 50 including honorary members and includes a mixture of practising and retired, professional and business men and women who meet regularly for fellowship and service.

Our Rotarians are extremely active in the life of the town, organising school activities for the young that include competitions, educational awards, mock interview sessions, Christmas filling of shoe boxes and Toy boxes. The Santa float tours the streets in December and a major Choir concert featuring a well-known Welsh Choir is staged annually.

The Winslow Classic Car Run is a great attraction every year In May and features a large number of beautiful cars a minimum of 25 years old and many a lot older. Members and family enjoy various outings and entertainment at theatre and restaurant venues, visiting places of interest around the country.
