Every year member volunteers have sourced and packed food hampers for needy people in Winslow and surrounding area. It is expected that 15 families and 4 single people will receive the hampers. A further 6 could be required for the villages. Around £1200 will be donated to pay for contents.
The Club will be purchasing a Shelter Box to the value of £600 which will be donated and used in one of the War-torn or Earthquake/Hurricane destroyed countries so widely publicised currently. 3W Health surgeries in the town, Whitchurch and Wing housed a collection container for the Rotary Wrap-Up promotion to collect warm coats for distribution to those in need during these coming cold months.Many coats were generously donated and will be sorted and found homes for in the coming weeks.

Children helping children – Hundreds of shoe boxes to be filled with appropriate contents by the school children have been supplied to various schools in Winslow.
