Shelter Box

The Club will be purchasing a Shelter Box to the value of £600 which will be donated and used in one of the War-torn or Earthquake/Hurricane destroyed countries so widely publicised currently. We help provide shelter to people who need it most. Each shelter box contains a tent containing the equipment someone needs to call home. Contents consist of cooking utensils, plates, cups and cutlery, a tarpaulin and essential tools, a water purification unit, mosquito net, blanket and solar light to house a family in such an emergency. We have funded others in previous years and will continue as there is such a desperate need.
