The combined junior schools of Winslow/Swanbourne and Winslow C ofE school packed 100+ Rotary shoe boxes for distribution to needy childrenand families in Eastern Europe. They are filled with toys, toiletries, pens, pencils, gloves, household products and other small useful items.
20 Hampers were packed and delivered to families in need this Christmas. Over£700 was spent (donated) on contents and delivered to homes in Winslow,Twyford and Mursley. The picture shows hamper boxes being packed.

A RECORD COLLECTION IN EXCESS OF £12,000 WAS DONATED ON SANTA’S DECEMBER VISITS TO WINSLOW AND THE VILLAGES. The public’s generosity this Christmas was excellent and greatly appreciated. Many local and international needs will be served as it is carefully distributed.
“Wrap Up” is a Rotary initiative run by clubs across the UK to collect warm winter coats and distribute them locally to individuals and charities supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
