Shoe Box Scheme for Winslow Area Schools

Children helping children – Hundreds of shoe boxes to be filled with appropriate contents by the school children have been supplied to various schools in Winslow. The completed boxes will be sent to needy children and familes in Central and Eastern Europe. Contents include toys, make-up, toiletries, Household washing powder, soap, shampoos, toothbrushes and paste and many other items.
All should be collected in time for the boxes to arrive by Christmas or soon after.
This has been a very successful scheme run by the club for a number of years. We thank the childen and parents for their generosity and hard work filling them.
