Festival of Voices Charity Concert

At our Christmas “Festival of Voices” with the Bridgend Male Choir, we included two younga solo singers from Wales, soprano, Darcey George and baritone, Liam Edwards.
These talented young singers are members of LARS (Loud Applause, Rising Stars). This is an organisation which was founded in 2015 with the primary purpose to provide staging opportunities, mentoring and financial support in the form of bursaries. They provide the Rising Stars with invaluable adviceand guidance on their musical development and on-stagepresentation.

We were able to attend one of their concerts and select the best to attend our event in Winslow offering them an opportunity to sing in front of an audience.
 
Our sell-out concert at St Laurence Church in Winslow is as popular as ever and each year we raise a sum in excess of £5,000 for local and international charities supported by Rotary.
